Laura Pampreen D.V.M.:
Dr. Pampreen is a graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital upon graduation. Dr. Pampreen grew up in Glastonbury and is the daughter of Dr. Keish. She has an interest in internal medicine and oncology. Dr. Pampreen enjoys going to continuing education conferences and had taken courses in ultrasonography. Her ultrasound machine is one of the many modern technologies available at Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Laura Pampreen is married to Dr. Sean Pampreen and lives with her family in Marlborough. She has 3 children that keep her busy when she is away from the hospital. She co-leads Udder Butter Goat Club, a 4-H club that both of her boys are involved in. They are surrounded by many animals at home. Zazu, thier dog has claimed Caitlin as his nap buddy. Michael and Steven help take care of the many goats they own. Steven has a pair of chickens that were best in show at the Hartford County 4-H fair. Tipper, their cat, was adopted from GVH. They also have llamas and a pot bellied pig.
William Keish D.V.M.:
Dr. Keish graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. He joined the Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital in 1974 and has enjoyed seeing the practice flourish and grow to a four doctor practice that includes his daughter, Dr. Laura Pampreen. Dr. Keish enjoys surgery and takes special pride in seeing the sons and daughters of his first clients now bring their pets to the Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Keish grew up on a dairy farm in Manchester, Connecticut which may explain why he has a pet belted galloway cow named Kassel along with a cat, Norman. Dr. Keish and his wife, Nancy, have three children and seven grand children. Happily all but 2 of the grandchildren are nearby and "Papa" certainly likes spending time with them. He claims to have only one vice and that is UCONN basketball. He attends all the mens and womens games and has been know to actually leave work early to be at the games on time.
Dr. Keish is past president of the Hartford County 4-H Camp and currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer working with their annual fund drive. Dr. Keish is a member of the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Associatioin, the Greater Hartford Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Jessica Kaleta V.M.D.:
Dr. Kaleta joined Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital in June 2005 upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. She attended Bates College in Maine where she received her undergraduate interdisciplinary degree in biopsychology and did 3 years of neurosurgery research at UPENN before attending veterinary school there. She has always had a strong love of medicine and animals and truly enjoys the challenge of combining these two passions for such deserving patients who are such important members of our families.
Having grown up in western Massachusetts, Dr. Kaleta is thrilled to be back in New England and happy to have found such a supportive practice to work in so close to both her and her husband's families. She currently resides in Suffield with her husband Jason, her daughter Emily, her beagle Bailey, and 2 cats, Sam and Suzy Peepers.
Kristen Peterson D.V.M.
Dr. Peterson went to Elon University in Burlington, NC where she recieved her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She recieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Prince Edward Island where she graduated third in her class. She lives with two Tibetan Terriers named Barnaby and Tucker with more to come. In addition to a special interest in internal medicine, Dr. Peterson's favorite part of being a veterinarian is helping people care for their animals. She loves soccer and enjoys spending time with her friends and family in her spare time.
